Ritzman Courts, a leader in the tennis court construction industry specializing in Conventional and Sub-Irrigated Har-Tru Courts, was founded in 1989 by Tony Ritzman. Ritzman Courts is based in Southwest Florida, however, does construction nationwide.
Tony Ritzman started in 1981 working with soft courts at The Plantation Racquet Club in Venice, Florida. He returned there after college and began to see a need for quality soft courts in the south Florida area. He improved the quality of the existing area courts by starting with maintenance and resurfacing; he then added the construction of Har-Tru courts.
Carlos A. Guapacha is the new owner of Ritzman Courts, Carlos worked for the company for over 22 years and since has taken over the company in 2019. Ritzman Courts is licensed to build Hydro-Court™ Har-Tru tennis courts and ClayTech courts by Lee Tennis, LLC, patent holder of Hydro-Court™. Ritzman Courts is also a Builder Member of the United States Tennis Court and Track Builder’s Association.
